Seven reasons

  1. Reason 1: The point is the time together

Each book is built to be shared with the grown-up beside the child. You read a little, talk about it, and make something together. The learning supports the relationship, not the other way around.

  2. Reason 2: Short stories you can read aloud

The Safari ABC book pairs every letter with an animal and a short read-aloud story. The Ocean books add a short, true ocean fact to read together on each picture page.

  3. Reason 3: A chance to slow down and color together

Big, friendly pictures invite children to sit, look closely and color at their own pace. Start with crayons or colored pencils, as recommended in the book descriptions.

  4. Reason 4: Room for your child’s own ideas

Drawing pages ask children to add something of their own: another word that starts with the letter, a set to count, a shape, an invented creature or a dream safari camp.

  5. Reason 5: Memory stops that make it stick

Every book includes five Memory Stops or Memory Trail games. Children remember, explain, compare, decide and create, answering with words, pointing, gestures or pictures.

  6. Reason 6: Real early-school foundations

Letters A to Z in uppercase and lowercase, counting 0–10 or 1–20, and shapes like circles, triangles, squares and rectangles, explored through play and conversation.

  7. Reason 7: Written by a teacher who knows the age

Ari Safari has 33 years of teaching experience, the last 10 of them in Kindergarten. Grown-up guidance and answers are included, so you can share the activities with confidence.
