Explore the activities and book details

Count with a narwhal, crabs, manatees, sea turtles, an octopus with eight arms, dolphins, jellyfish and more. Discover circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, ovals and stars.

Every number and shape has two pages that work together:

- **Picture page:** color a big, friendly ocean scene, count the animals or find the shape, trace it, and read a short, true ocean fact together.
- **My Turn! page:** draw your own set to count or your own shape, then practice tracing and writing.

Memory Trail games make learning stick. Every five pages, children “climb the Memory Tree,” starting with simple remembering and going all the way up to inventing their own ocean creatures. Try to remember first, then peek to check. A grown-up reads the questions aloud, and children answer by drawing, matching, circling, and talking.

Inside you’ll find:

- 20 ocean animals to color and count, from 1 to 20
- 6 shapes to find, color and trace
- Number tracing and writing practice
- 26 “My Turn!” drawing pages
- 5 Memory Trail stops with 6 kinds of thinking activities
- 5 extra full-page ocean scenes to color
- A note for grown-ups with simple tips for 15 minutes a day
- A “Memory Tree Champion” certificate to celebrate

**Book details:** 90 pages, large 8.5 × 11 inch pages, single-sided coloring pictures. Best used with crayons or colored pencils.

Perfect for ages 4 to 6, preschool and kindergarten, at home, in the classroom, or for homeschool.
